What to expect with VEC
The below scenario will give you a good idea of what to expect when hiring Veterans Enterprises Corp.
The first thing that needs to be done is to contact our office by phone, email or our website contact form. We will record your contact information and job requirements and will schedule a convenient time for you, where an estimator will come by the site to go over the work with you.
2. SITE VISIT
Once on site, the estimator will assess the situation, giving you an informative and detailed breakdown of the steps VEC will take to approach the job. If this is a new build, it is best to have as much information regarding your project as possible.
Once the onsite meeting is complete, expect an electronic estimate, giving a detailed breakdown of the work discussed and an associated price. A contract is negotiated and a deposit is due upon booking. This deposit holds your spot, gets your date booked and is put towards the materials and planning for your job. Upon booking, a scheduled date for commencement of the work will be given.
4. START of the JOB
Our Project Manager will go over the scope of work one last time and once you give the thumbs up the work will begin.
5. JOB COMPLETION
One the job is complete, we like to do a final inspection with the homeowner to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the work that has been completed. After we get your approval we do a thorough cleanup of the site. The employees will let the office staff know they're complete and an electronic invoice will follow, outlining all the work that was completed with the remaining balance owing attached. Invoices are due upon completion unless otherwise stated in your contract.
